I recently took my 2000 BMW M Roadster in for and annual inspection and two new front tires. All was done as scheduled and on time. When I got the car back to the house I noticed there was a pattern of stain marks all around the left front wheel. I worked with Arnold and he reassured me that he would makes things right. I took the car back and Voit said that he had never seen that before and likely caused by the tire mounting lubricant. The next day I took the tire and wheel over and dropped it off. Voit worked his detailing magic on the wheel and completely buffed out the stain. As usual I am completely satisfied with the work they perform and the customer care they have built their reputation on. Thank you,Bob in Freeport

I am writing this as I sit in my car at 7:45 am. Yesterday's experience was great! I'm back today with my other BMW Z3 for service!

After driving, Athena, our 1973 BMW 3.0CSi cross country and logging 9,406 miles plus a 575 mile Connecticut trip. I scheduled an appointment for an oil change, valve adjustment and full detail. While there I was reminded that the inner CV boots we shot, discovered they were worn out in California, so it was time to replace them. While the rear half shafts were out, it was found one of the CV joints was worn out, I of course agreed to have it fixed.The staff kept me informed every step of the way and the parts and labor cost of each repair. When I picked up Athena after 4 days of work, she looked like a brand new car. Voit explained the repairs and mentioned another issue that needs to be addressed. I appreciate the attention to detail and trust the work to be done right the first time. I try to maintain my vintage BMWs to a very high level and Autowerkes Maine helps make that a reality.

As usual, the friendly and helpful folks at Autowerks did a fine job diagnosing my car's problem. This is an excellent shop for German cars-- no bs, and they'll take the time to explain what they find and why they advise a certain solution.

We received a large repair estimate from a local Mercedes dealership after going in for an oil change with no other complaints. This is after previous visits to this dealer were less than satisfactory. I decided we should use an independent that specializes in Mercedes. We received a second opinion on the large repair estimate from. None of the repairs suggested by the dealer were found to be needed by Autowerkes Maine. The initial assessment from the dealer had us pondering repairs costing several thousands of dollars or a new car. Thanks to Autowerkes we are confidently driving the same car without worrying about a huge repair bill or a new car. I'm a Fleet Manager who works with many repair shops in many states.
