I take my modified 2007 VW GTI here all the time for this and that. The staff is very friendly bit even more importantly i am confident im being charged an honest price. You might be able to find a cheaper mechanic but that wont help you if they take twice as long to repair. These guys are experts, fast and courteous.

I'm thrilled with the service I received from Autowerkes! My airbag fault light was on. The dealer was going charge me well over $2000 to replace an airbag and a seatbelt tensioner and had no suggestions on other options. I took my '08 GTI to Autowerkes for a second opinion. They did a more thorough assessment and found extensive damage to wiring and the interior of the car caused by mice. They fixed all the damage, including the installation of new headliner, changed the oil, did a state inspection and rotated the tires - all for less than what the dealer would've charged. The dealer's approach wouldn't have fixed the airbag fault anyway.Jess - my service advisor - kept me well informed of what they found, what my options were and how long the work would take. Great work by great people at a fair price, what more could you ask for? Autowerkes will be servicing my GTI for as long as I can keep it rolling.
Was pleased it was simple (an oil change!) But the service light was not reset and still comes on :-( Hoping I can swing by at some point when I am back in town to have it reset.
